The Chain

Drawing from the Romance era, I created these two unicorns. The simple narrative of a collar on a unicorn let alone the addition of a chain, depicts my inner turmoil over family crisis and the need to be free of all of it. Sometimes that chain breaks and I do feel freedom, but the chain never really goes away.

Struggle is Real

Unicorns may not exist in the physical world like our struggles do. But they do exist in all other worlds: emotional, mental, etc. They symbolize pure, kind, power with a detachment toward negativity I envy.

It's normal to feel uncertain and uneasy during hard times.

Face your fears, problems, garbage, with the fierce knowledge that you are capable!

The time will come when the chains you feel will fall from your heart, your mind, your soul, and you will feel stronger.

Triumphant.

When that happens, and it will happen, remember where you came from, remember how you evolved.
